Riding through Utrecht
Utrecht is made for kickbikes: flat, full of cycle paths and water everywhere. From the city moat you are on the Oudegracht canal in no time, and after fifteen minutes you are in the green at Amelisweerd or along the Kromme Rijn.
A kickbike is easier than a bicycle: step on, push off and go. There is nothing to learn and you do not need to be sporty. You ride on the cycle path, just like the cyclists around you.
What you get
One kickbike per person, delivered and collected again within 15 km of Utrecht. With the evening rental the group gets a cable lock.
Free routes come with it: a city route, a countryside route along the Vecht and an evening route past pubs. So you do not have to plan anything yourself, even if you have never been to Utrecht.
How it works
Request the kickbikes with the form, at least 13 days before your rental date. We then send you the confirmation and the invoice as soon as possible, usually within 2 working days. Once the invoice is paid, your booking is fixed and we deliver at the agreed time.
Payment is by invoice in advance only; there is no online payment and no card payment on delivery. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the rental date.

What does it cost?
You pay per kickbike per time slot, excluding 21% VAT. Delivery and collection are included, and payment is by invoice in advance.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a kick scooter and a kickbike?
There is none: a kickbike is a kick scooter for adults. It has a large front wheel, bicycle handlebars and a low footboard to stand on. You push off with your foot, there is no motor.
Can I rent a single kickbike?
No, we only rent to groups of 8 people or more. If you are a smaller party, a rental point in the city is a better option.
Do we need to pick up the kickbikes ourselves?
No. We bring them to the place you choose, within 15 km of Utrecht, and collect them again afterwards. That can be your office, your hotel or a park entrance, and it is included in the price.
How fast does a kickbike go?
At an easy pace you do about 10 km per hour; if you put some effort in, you get close to 18. Everyone sets their own pace, so a group easily stays together.
Which routes are included?
Three, all free: a city route along the moat and the Oudegracht canal for half a day, a countryside route along the river Vecht for a full day and an evening route past pubs. A tailor-made route is possible too.
How far in advance do I need to book?
At least 13 days before your rental date. You can cancel free of charge or change the number of people up to 24 hours in advance.
What if it rains?
A shower is no problem, just bring a raincoat. In case of thunderstorms or an official weather warning (code orange or red), we move your rental to another date in consultation, at no extra cost.
