Kickbike routes in Utrecht
Every rental comes with free kickbike routes. So you know where to go, without having to study a map, even if it is your first time in Utrecht.
Three routes, three kinds of day
Utrecht is flat, has plenty of cycle paths and water everywhere. That makes the city and its surroundings ideal for kickbikes. Our routes are made for groups: not too long, with plenty of places to stop, and as much as possible along the water and through the green.
With half a day you ride the city route along the moat and the Oudegracht. With a full day you leave the city, along the Vecht to Maarssen. And in the evening you ride the short loop past bars in the city centre and Lombok.

A relaxed loop along the moat around the city centre, through Wilhelminapark and along the Oudegracht canal. There is time for coffee on a terrace along the way.

Countryside route around Utrecht
Via Oud-Zuilen along the river Vecht to Maarssen and back past the Maarsseveense Plassen lakes. Mostly cycle paths, little traffic and a lunch stop halfway.

Evening route past pubs
A short loop through the city centre and the Lombok neighbourhood with four stops at bars. The distances between stops are short, and at every stop the kickbikes are locked.

Do the routes cost extra?
No. The routes come free with every rental. You only pay per kickbike per time slot, and delivery and collection are included.
How do we follow the route?
We send the routes along with the invoice. You can simply follow them on your phone, so there is no need to bring a map.
Which route suits which time slot?
The city route fits into half a day, the countryside route along the Vecht fills a full day and the evening route past pubs goes with the evening rental from 18:00 to 23:00.
Can we ride our own route?
Yes. You are not tied to anything. Would you like a tailor-made route, for example past your lunch spot? Add it to the comments in the form. We deliver the kickbikes anywhere within 15 km of Utrecht.
