Organising a kickbike tour in Utrecht
A kickbike tour with your team, club, friends or visiting group? This is how to go about it, from choosing a time slot to the day itself. For groups of 8 people or more.
1. Choose the time slot
Half a day (09:00–13:00 or 13:00–17:00) is enough for a loop through the city. A full day (09:00–17:00) leaves room for a tour into the countryside. In the evening (18:00–23:00) it becomes a pub crawl. The group gets a cable lock.
2. Choose a route
Three routes come free: the city route along the moat and the Oudegracht, the countryside route along the Vecht and the evening route past pubs. A tailor-made route, for example past your lunch spot, is possible too.
3. Decide on start and finish
We deliver the kickbikes to the spot you choose, anywhere within 15 km of Utrecht, and collect them again afterwards. That can be a different place, which is handy if you finish somewhere else. Give a clear address or landmark, for example the main entrance of your office or hotel.
4. Book in time
Send your request at least 13 days before the date using the form. You will see an indicative price straight away. We send the confirmation and the invoice as soon as possible, usually within 2 working days. Payment is in advance by invoice; once it has been received, the date is fixed.
5. Plan the stops
You arrange coffee, lunch or drinks yourselves. Agree in advance where the group meets up, so nobody has to search. You can change the number of people or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
6. On the day itself
The kickbikes are ready just before your time slot starts. In a shower, wear a raincoat; in case of thunderstorms or code orange or red, we move the rental in consultation, at no extra cost. Ride on the cycle path, and with the evening rental lock the kickbikes at every stop.
What does a kickbike tour cost?
You pay per kickbike per time slot, excluding 21% VAT. Sample calculation: 20 people for a full day costs €500.00 excl. VAT (€605.00 incl. VAT).

No. We supply the kickbikes and the routes, the tour itself is up to you. No instruction is needed: after two minutes everyone has the hang of it.
Can we combine the tour with lunch or drinks?
Yes, you arrange that yourselves. The routes are designed for it: the city route leaves time for coffee in the city centre, the countryside route for a lunch stop along the way, and the evening route passes four bars.
